The power company and I have been fighting over my trees for 18 years. They have become more and more deceptive and aggressive. They have made claims that conflict with information they have provided in past years to these questions:
1. What is the minimum height your 35kv lines can be above ground level?
2. What is the minimum spacing required between the three lines?
3. What is the minimum clearance from vegetation, ie. trees, bushes, etc.
4. What is the length of time between tree clearing cycles?
5. What standards are you required to adhere to with regards to tree clearing?
6. What standards are you required to adhere to with regards to leasing connections to your poles by Comcast, and others?
Someone....please talk to me.
Thank you.

Tree trimming is always a sensitive issue with the utility customers, as it apparently is here. The utility needs to minimize damage and outages while not wanting to return and trim the same tree annually. Most lines are located in public rights of ways for tree clearance as well as many other reasons.

Trimming practices vary from utility to utility. If the line is actually contained in a utility ROW, then that agreement usually prohibits construction and tree planting under a line.

It is highly unlikely that minimum conductor heights and phase spacings are an issue here.

The NESC governs minimum line heights depending on the installation area and traffic that may pass beneath the line as well as other criteria.

Conductor spacing can cover a wide range depending on construction characteristics/types....etc.

Additional user attachments are usually handled with a custom pole use agreement between the two or more parties.

Don't know that this helped you much, but there are no simple answers to your questions.
