Hi everyone,

I’m in the process of planning a project that needs a comprehensive postal database covering as many countries as possible. What I’m after isn’t just the postal codes themselves, but also extra details like city names, regions, and ideally GPS coordinates to make location mapping more precise.

The challenge I’m facing is that different countries have very different formats, update schedules, and levels of accessibility for this data. Some are well-documented and public, others are fragmented or hard to track down. :|

If anyone here has tackled building or sourcing a world postal database, I’d really appreciate hearing about your approach, where you sourced the information, and how you kept it consistent across all regions. :D
