Regarding arc flash and safe distance, I've participated in projects using remotely operated medium-voltage circuit breakers. Experience has shown that increasing the distance significantly reduces the risk to technicians during operation. However, the initial investment cost is quite high, so it's usually only applied to areas with high incident energy. According to IEEE 1584 guidelines, distance directly affects the level of exposure.

My company does not use remote operating systems, yet safety is always our top priority. Risk management is strictly controlled.
